I got a refurbished Macbook Pro 7.1 last June from Apple, and I've noticed the battery capacity declining - according to Coconut Battery, my Macbook is 14 weeks, 73 charge cycles, and at 89% battery capacity - just a few hours ago when I checked, it was at 90%. I calibrated the battery about a month ago, and the battery was at 96%. Is the battery in my Macbook faulty? If so, will the Apple warranty cover a new battery? I did not get the extended Applecare plan, but this MPB initially had faulty RAM when I first got it and Apple immediately solved the problem.
Also, is there anything I can do to help extend the battery life? I use it pretty constantly and don't plug it in to charge until the battery is <50% - is that bad?
