I think they should ask the *The Fast Show Gang *

I saw John *Hiccup* Thomson ,Paul *wot research !* Whitehouse on daytime tv today Plugging a best of Fast show DVD...seems they are resting ...

Not seen the Culcky one, But I still love the Sean Astin one and the Darth Vader one.

Different setup to the newer ones with the older ones around a table hearing a film pitch, but still kinda similar if you get what I mean.

Love the Orange adverts.

I like the orange adverts too. I go to the cinema quite a lot these days, so see them quite a bit.

I saw the Macaulay Culkin one for the first time today.

It wasn't as good as some of the others, but thought it was funny when the paint can hit the guy in the face (mimiking Home Alone).

Saw this yesterday, thought it was funny, better than the Val Kilmer one anyway. I'm surprised he allowed them to take the p*ss out of his career like that.

Wait until it has been running for six months before every film you see. Then you will be sick to death of it! The Darth vader one was still running a year after Ep 3 was released and the Sean Astin one ran for months on end about two years after the final Lord OF The Rings was released.

Bollocks. They bring out a new one every three months. Sometimes they extend an aRAB run if the production of the next one takes longer than expected (as happened with the Steven Segal one), but never two years.

Sorry but my local Cineworld bought the Sean Astin ad back in either late 2005 or even early 2006 and it ran for months on end. I think the Steven Seagal one was what finally replaced it.

Really? So your local Cineworld has to buy its adverts?

Would like to know which one it is. I'd love to run a company where cinemas pay me to have my business advertised in them.

If that ad ran for "months on end" in your local Cineworld then that particular cinema is breaching their contract with Carlton Screen.

The Sean Astin ad had its normal 3 month run and was then replaced. As previously noted, it was brought back briefly to fill time until the Segal one was completed. It didn't run non-stop all that time, it was just brought back for a short run.

The Darth Vader ad ran for its contracted 3 months and did not run for a continuous year after Star Wars: Episode 3 was released.
