MAC UPDATES! Please help?

Hi there I have a MacBook but I guess its semi-old. I dont have the new photobooth, the new keynote, or any of the other updates that the new macbooks have. How do I get these?

at high a price from apple mac after you upgrade your opperating software,, again at a high price....

download and install Linux for free with all the software you will ever need also free
 
Photobooth and some other apps only come pre-installed with OS X so the only way to get the newest versions of everything is to just buy the newest version of OS X (Leopard). As for Keynote, that's part of iWork, along with Pages and Numbers, so buy iWork '08. For GarageBand, iMovie, iDVD, etc. buy iLife '08. If you want to check for available updates for your Mac just click the Apple icon in the top left corner and click Software Update.
