I have a PowerBook G4 and use OSX 10.3.9
I need to update in a bad way...I mainly use my computer to edit sale videos/photos for our business and bookkeeping using QuickBooks Pro5 and Quicken. I also need to update my video camera and printer/scanner. I'm wondering if the iBook has the pixel capacity I'm looking for to pull quality stills off my video or if that is more a reflection of the original recording? Is the camera or the computer more important? Is a High Def camera worth the money? I use a MiniDV right now, I love the ease of the iMovie program, is the new comparable program as easy to use? My iDVD has always been a pain, I almost can't burn DVD's and when it does work they can only be read by other Macs. Not good for business.
Also, is there an external drive that can store all my bookkeeping information, how big and how hard is it to transfer the files and update the program.
Ugh, sounds like a huge undertaking, is it?
Help!
Thanks
