Mac OS X boot camp help?

Huh?

New member
Well, I was using boot camp to installed Windows Xp on my mac. Once I installed it, I had to install the drivers. When I tried to do that, it said that I couldn't install them because it wasn't compatible. Then I read back and it says that the version of windows XP I have is Service pack 1 and that I had to have service pack 2 or above. Is there another way to upgrade my service pack than to just ditch the windows os? My family has two more computers on windows, so can i install service pack 3 on one of them and then use a CD to transport it to my mac?? please help!
The problem with that is i can't get internet conection when i am on windows.

Absolutely. You just need to install XP Service Pack 2 via Windows Update. The fastest way to access Windows Update is to open Internet Explorer, then go here: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

You may have to go through several rounds of updates, but Service Pack 2 should eventually become available.

Alternatively, you can try downloading a standalone installer here:
