On my G4 Mac Mini running Mac OS X 10.3.9, I found these CAC programs (Common Access Card) and started one and it said "CAC Services started" (Or the equivalent, I don't remember exactly what it said.) Nothing happened, and I didn't know how to stop them, so I didn't bother. I rebooted. Login window said "Please Insert Common Access Card," and below it it said "other." So I picked Other. Then I got a message window that said the mac was only authorized for use by the Department of Defense and that all other uses were prohibited. WHAT - THE - HECK. I couldn't log in, because the window shook everytime I tried to, so I rebooted. After rebooting, I was immediately put into a Darwin/BSD shell, where I logged in, and I got a blue background screen and a cursor. Nothing else. I rebooted again, and went into single-user mode, did "rm -rf /var/run/pcscd." Rebooted again.
It still didn't work. Rebooted again, into safe mode. It still didn't do anything. Please help.
