M8800 IMEI not active

Hello,

I've a Samsung M8800 prototype with IMEI set to 000000000000000, showing the message "IMEI not active".

Is there a way to re-write the proper IMEI written on the label?

Is there a way to do it without a Box? Like connecting to an on-line service or so?
