M50 Pipes ????

howdy all..

i have an 06 m50 and was thinking about aftermarket pipes...

i know you can get VANCE and HINES and COBRA but are they anything else out there on the market..

i drilled 10mm holes in the stock pipes which gave it a bit more of a note but i would like to hear just a bit more. or is there something i can also do to stockers that may give it a deeper note ???

all advice would be awesome...
 
I was gonna say debaffle it and see if you like it. If it is too loud or you wanna change the tone some, do a search for Fibrosleeve - a mod DJ put togather that a lot have really liked.

I have cobra streetrods on mine and really like them, I also know Jardine, Hard Krome, Morton Violators are some others I can think of. If I had my choice and wanted to spend the money again, I would look very hard at the Hard Krome 2:1 exhaust, I think it looks way cool on the M50 - the downside is it is very pricey.

over is AUST there are stricked Rules on motorcycle noise.. i had a XVS650 with jardine drag pipes and i got the bike defected... not much fun at all...

i would love it to sound like a harley but never going to happen...

i am in love with these vance and hines they sound unreal

i will be debaffling the bike this weekend...... i will see how we go if iam not happy i will purchase vance and hines but do they come with the port for the OXY sensor ???
 
Some don't mate. The HH pipes I bought didn't, but HH state that it should be tucked up under the side panel and not disconnected. As long as it is still connected, it will provide the relevant feedback to the the ecu so that the FI can be adjusted accordingly.
