M4V files

Hey everyone,
Can anyone tell me if the G1 supports .M4V's? Its an iPod/iPhone compressed video. I know the G1 does support MP4'S.

yes it does, what I do is rename the file extension to mp4 so the video player see it.

ok great advice - thanks! one other question, do u do the renaming when you downloading the clip, or rename it after its downloaded already, cos if it's the latter, i dont know or see a way to renmae video files on the G1 - can someone help me with THAT???

If the m4v is drm protected, you can not just rename it. You need to remove the drm protected first. You can try m4v converter I usually used. You can find it in http://www.avclabs.com/mac/m4v-converter-plus.php
