lynksis media extender?

i want to buy the lynksis media extender when i buy it do i need to by a router or something to plug into my computer? or does everything you need come with it?
no its for connecting your tv to your pc wirelessly
 
If you mean the thing that extends a wireless internet signal, then it's about $100 at any Best Buy or electronics store like that. I used to use it to use my neighbor's signal. It generally is effective. You just plug it into a power outlet, and place it at a middle-point between your computer and the wireless router that's providing the main wireless signal.
 
It comes with everything you need, providing you have the typical home network going on.
