LX160 Cricket Pics

it is a sprint on you can see sprint loading and hardware ver. is 1.2 it is sprint. they are done the same way as the instinct....##data# and qpst

Note: WAP and web browsing works, MMS I am not certain about since I dont use it...

As I mentioned in a prior post, I used these same settings with no luck for a long time. Recently, I reset everything by ##786#, then changed a few things. I have a cricKet account with web, and used PRL 1040 I DL'd from the net. The rest was changed from the keypad using ##3282# (##DATA#).

I don't have the free time to kill very often, so I reply and post when i can. Some of you need to get a girlfriend or something... maybe take an anti-******* pill. Not everyone is a fraud, fake or phony. Most are, but not all. I just want to add to the body of knowledge. I'm too busy to **** with all the know-it-all-but-do-nothing types that seem to be on these boarRAB.

You bring good points. However, I have seen this same solution (or similar) on other posts. So, it isn't like you invented the wheel on this one. But thanks for your contribution to HOFO.

As for MMS, it won't work with Sprint because Sprint uses a whole different system for their MMS than what Cricket does. From the hours of searching on here and a few cases of Dr. Pepper, I have found that the solution has been to flash to Verizon, Alltel, or a Generic and then go from there.

You are correct about the MMS. But I can't afford it and the LX160 doesn't have a camera anyway. The thing is I have other phones like a Helio Ocean, Samsung M300 (sprint) that I cannot get to work as I did with the LG. I will keep probing and bricking until I have some answers! In the meantime, I managed to successfully re-create the process several times with the same results. I will write a step-by-step and post it soon. I wish I had a DLL for the LX160, M300 (a good one) and the A503 (Drift), though. Thanks for your support...

The Ocean and M300 can be done already. Not sure on the process for the Ocean but the M300 is setup just like the Instinct, which is really close to what you did with the LX160. I have a Fin and its not the same as Sprint phones. Can't assign a port for the proxy so it won't work. I'm sure the heat and drift are almost the same but a dll might actually help there.

The only thing I need for the ocean is to figure out how to put the Gateway ip addresses because ##3283# does not have browser settings to input those settings on the phone, at least for Web...I might try again and try to write them maybe with CDMA workshop or something. can someone that has already done an ocean with WAp shed some small light?

On the Ocean, there is a setting under the debug menu, ##1122 end. "NGB Config" lets you set the homepage, proxy, and (press "0") the search URL. Also something called the "June URL". The debug menu also allows settings for the USB port DM mode and other cool stuff. The rest of the data settings are under ##3282#. The LX160 doesn't specifically have a "gateway" setting, just the proxy address and port. If only Pantech PST supported the PN810...

thanks for the info, it still wont connect and once it restarts the settings revert back to helio settings on the ##1122 Debug menu..

i think these oceans are a lost cause...

ok... Using CDMA workshop, connect to the Ocean (sometimes mine requires connecting through QPST first) unlock with 16 digit password (or usually SKY s130 works). Once phone is unlocked, use Bitpim or EasyCDMA and the filesystem is available! Can anyone figure out how we can get WAP working on cricket NOW???
