From the new chapter of Detective Conan this week had an ad for the Lupin Vs. Conan special and the special will be airing in March in Japan.

This is one of those rare cases where predictability is good. I mean, that's the point of both franchises: Conan always solves the cases, Lupin always escapes. The fun is in the execution.

I am no big Conan fan, but Lupin makes everything better. I'm so hoping for this one.



I see no reason why shouldn't they. They have been part and parcel of very Lupin project to this day...

Actually Ghost in the Shell vs. Lupin wouldn't be bad at all, in fact that's actually a good idea, but if the GitS universe in there were like the manga's universe the comedy would work better



I agree, I'm no big Detective CONAN fan either (since I prefer YAIBA and Magic Kaitou, Gosho Aoyama's earlier work), but I think this should be interesting, and I hope the special turns out good, since with crossovers it's an "either or" situation
