Hi all.
My boyfriend is very fit and lean and during the course of our time together I have noticed he has several lumps under his skin. There are probably about a dozen of them that I have noticed, all over his body, though especially concentrated on his arms. They are about the size of a quarter, and some of them - especially those on his forearms - are prominent enough to see without feeling for them.
I've pointed them out to him before, and he says he's had them for years but has no idea what they are (though he was only aware of the ones on his arms). He says he's asked his doctor about them, who has told him he wasn't sure either but they are not worth worrying about unless they get larger. My fear though, is that they could be getting larger, and unless they have a significant growth spurt all at once, he would never notice.
He doesn't see it as a big deal, but I'd like to know - whether or not they are growing, does anyone have any idea what this might be?
