Loyalist vs Patriots (Debate)?

Im having a debate in Hist1000 class (Loyalist vs Patriots), i need some point and views for both sides.
 
Patriots. Because I'm an American and I would rather put my life on the line for my freedoms then be slaves of the king. He deserves no loyalty, he's just some random dude who gets what he wants. I would much rather be free.

Well most people would say that the patriots are great cause "I'M An American" lol

but if you think about it The Loyalist were loyal to there leaders and there country of origin

Patriots rebelled because they didn't like there government basically
 
Niether because a patriot is a person who believes in a everything there government does and are afraid to ask question concerning events that take place in that country

A loyalist is a person who is very loyal to that firm or group which that person believe its right even if its wrong
That person won't ammit it because he is part of it

So I say niether I am a "Truther" I like to spread the truth
