Lowering blocks, yes or no?

I have the Road 6 Customs ones also. Cheap to try vs. buying new shocks. I purchased them on e-bay. I think I paid $25 OTD for them.

Had them on the middle hole was okay. occasional bottoming out with two people on. Put a new seat and and moved up one hole. No more bottoming out. Might just take them off altogether now that I have my new seat on.

i think the Road 6 was what I found on ebay. I remember when the only ones you could get were White Bros, seems like they wanted $100.00 for them.

I had them on my 97 RK, (where on it when I bought it) old Frame...I see you have an 09 so not sure how the bottoming out issue is with the newer frame...

I had bottoming out issues with the tire hitting the wire harness..I switched to lower shocks and that fixed my problem...When I bought my 07 I went straight for the lower shocks this time.

I have Road 6 custom. In less than 50 miles I bottomed out and destroyed the rear lighting harness , with them set in the 2nd hole. With them set in the 1st hole and 40psi in the shocks I still bottom out. I ran the lighting harness on the outside of the fender and back in just in front of the license plate to keep from cutting the wiring harness again.

I do not reccomend them..

I guess this is like an oil thread, it depends on who you talk to. I have a set I bought 2 years ago from Road6customs on ebay. I've had them on three different bikes. an 09 EGC, an 08 UC and now on my 2010 Road King. They work well for me. They don't recommend using the 3rd hole for 3 inches because of bottoming out. I've used them in the first two holes with success. I like them! I can't tell any change in ride comfort, maybe better! JMO

had them on my 03 ultra. never rode with tour pak. thought they were fine untill i noticed that they wore a hole in my saddle bags. in the long run. shorter shocks were cheaper then new bags.

I had white bros on my 97 flh and thought they worked fine. They lowered the bike, and it still handled good. Sold the bike with 35,000 miles and never had a problem.
