I just had a pap smear come back abnormal and I was told that I have low grade Dysplasia. I was told that it comes from having HPV and that it could go away within the next few years. Me and my partner have been together for a little over a year now and we plan on getting married one day. Im pretty sure he has HPV as well because we have been sexually active for almost 9 months. My question is if he has HPV too will my body ever be able to fight off the virus if we continue to be sexually active or will he keep passing it to me...and does it go away with men too.
