I am diabetic - the type is still a mystery but I am insulin dependant. It has happened twice now where my blood glucose has dropped during physical intimacy with my husband. The first time I was 2.5 mmol/L and I was almost deleriouse. Trying to talk was confusing and my hubby had to test my blood for me and put the first dextrose tablet in my mouth for me. (Talk about a show stopper.) The second time my BG was 2.9 mmol/L and I was able to take my own blood sugar although that was a test of coordination. I don't mean to whine or anything, but I don't get it. It's not like I'm exherting myself or anything. I've heard of diabetics losing their libido but having their BG plummet? Any ideas?
