LoveFilm & ScreenSelect DVD Rental

I have been with Lovefilm this time for about 2 months. They have never sent more than 1 disc in an envelope. Are you perhaps getting confused with the fact that they do ask you (if possible) to put up to 4 dvd's in the same return envelope if you are able to? If that is not so, then yes, you would have no alternative but to wait until you had viewed both dvd's before returning them.
 
They will actually send more than one disc in the same envelope if they can, i.e. if they send more than one out on the same day, and when that is the case as Crankalot says you don't have an obvious alternative but to send them back together when you've watched them both.

This is of course quite cheeky, but they will provide extra return envelopes if you contact them, so you can get round it. Once you have then sent them back on different days, your next discs will also be sent out on different days, so you'll have a return envelope for each one from then on.

You know, that doesn't sound right to me. I have quite often had LF send me 3 dvd's in one go. The postie has put all 3 through my letterbox at the same time. They have all been in individual envelopes.

they have sent me 2 dvRAB in one envelope and a folded up returns envelope inside for the second disc. I think it probably varies depending on which employee picked you order from the warehouse.
 
I reckon I must have just been unlucky with them then; I was only with them for the duration of a free trial to be fair, so I don't have so much experience of it as someone who's fully signed up with them.

Has anybody signed up to the 3 months for the price of 1 promotion that LoveFilm is offering until Saturday? Presumably they think they've got their problems pretty much sorted now, if they're going out promoting thmselves again, I'd be interested to know if that is the case!

I've noticed Screenselect's service has decreased since they changed the return address from London to Middlesbrough. Am planning to close the account in the next few days, and plan to switch back to buying DVRAB.

a bit gutted about Lovefilm now taking over from Screenselect , had 3 tries with Lovefilm a few years ago and ended up cancelling as the service was terrible and as other peolpe have said , the discs were either late being sent or not the ones at the top of your priority list . Screenselect was always qucik with sending out discs and most times sending out the ones you most want . Since the merger my account has apparently been wiped and i am being asked to choose one of my previous accounts which are still on Lovefilms database ...2 years on !!. That has really pissed me off and when i get home i will be looking to cancel my account with this joke of a company ....i am amazed how they continue to operate .
