LoveFilm are getting on my t*ts

you're not the only one on here who is positive about lovefilm's service. I too have tried the others and found lovefilm to be the best experience for me and have nothing to complain about. I always get my top choices and have a fair turnaround and number of disks for the

It's incredulous.

I sent back The Seventh Seal and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events back in one envelope only yesterday but what happened on Friday today?

They received The Seventh Seal but didn't get Lemony Snicket (!?).

When I complained, this is the message they sent to me:

Thank you for writing to us at LOVEFiLM.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused. We have checked your account details and found that the title

We'll I'm with them because my 3 for 1 subscription doesn't finish until July 15th.

I think LoveFilm have gathered that I won't be extending my free trial and so don't give a toss about the service they give me.

That's why I ssuggested complaining to Trading StandarRAB, as they're in the best position if "Unlimited" is false advertising.

Not had a response yet though.

Now I've been told to wait up to 28 days for the refund request to be processed, guess there's not much point in emailing the CEO now as he'll only say the same thing now won't he? Anyhow I'm freezing my account before my next proper billing date so they can't lose my details nor profit from me any further while they owe me money!

I note that my previous post has been edited, apologies if what I said wasn't the case and I caused offence. Although I wasn't notified by PM of any wrongdoing, so that may not be the case? :S

I had hassle with Screen Select, they operate a throttling policy if you return titles too frequently. For example if you return a DVD on a monday, they recieve it on a Tuesday, they wont sent it out till Thursday.

Got this in my email this morning:

What a joke! They can't even keep me happy with 4 discs at a time, never mind going to 8!!!

And it still says 'unlimited', even though it's no longer an unlimited service, as they decide when they send out your next title, which can take up to 3 days in limbo.

So far, I've had pretty good service from ScreenSelect, although I've only been signed on for 6 weeks or so. I had good service as well from LoveFilm for 3-4 months, and then it went to crap.

does anybody have an email contact adress for this bunch of jokers.

we had a contract with screenselect (due to cancell on the 15th) which is now no longer avalible so they owe us money there, also have a 3 month for 1 month offer on lovefilm which they are now putting up an account from 2004!!! as our most recent one, so they owe us money there.

if all else fails i`ll try a refund on my visa card.

Does anyone understand this new 'fastrack' thing LF are on about? They claim you will have so many specific DVRAB per month you will be guaranteed to be sent out ie fastracked ones. SounRAB good but none of my titles in my queue say fastracked beside them so where do i take advantage of this option??? Anyone else not have any showing?

If they can't deliver 6 a week with the 3 at a time package they have no chance in supplying 16 a week with the extreme package.

From LF I receive 2 dvRAB a week with the 3 at a time package so I expect the extreme package would probably deliver me 6 a week which is what blockbusters gave me anyway at their

I send the DVRAB off on Monday, they get there Tuesday. They don't send the new ones off til Friday. I have been watching them very closely! Very poor service! You can't tell me that it takes four days to have my queue freed up!

I have been with blockbuster for ages and never had a problem, apart from 1 going missing in post, so if i where one of thr disgruntled lovefilm customers i would just jump ship to blockbuster.
As for the comment about staying loyal to a video shop, i find that quite funny. Whay would i want to do that? Its more expensive and alot more hassle to do and has utterly no benefits whatsovever.

The online service is quick hassle free and cheap, something which the stores dont have atall. If a business saves me money them i use it, i dont not use it because im trying to stay loyal to someone it makes utterly no sense. I work hard for my money and i will use my cash to its best effect and the best way for renting films in doing it online, not driving 4 miles to the town centre and paying 3 quid a pop for a film that i then have to watch within 1 or 2 nights only to have to drive all the way back again to drop it off, wasting petrol.

If they are not lying, and don't have any backlogs, then that means they are purposely delaying sending titles. This is even worse.

I've decided I'm cancelling at the end of this month, and telling them where to shove their 3 for 1 offer, it isn't worth the hassle, when I can get better service from Blockbuster.

This is the only option I've found for contacting them:

I wish you the best of luck with that one. I'm also looking for a refund or an extension to my subscription as the two bad discs I reported on Sunday have not been replaced. That's two working days that have now passed.

Sadly Screenselect are now a company that seem to 'steal' money. I would have never had problems like this with SS, only those Lovefilm assholes!

The fastrack thing is a scam, it just bumps the film and you HAVE to return one ready for it straight away. Only old films are ever FT and then the option comes and goes. It's no quicker than dumping older films at the top of your list.
