LoveFilm are getting on my t*ts

I so far have only suffered delays in them getting discs back not in them dispatching. If they start to stall on dispatching i will certainly freeze my account until they get something done.

How can they be struggling so badly? Dont they have a team of people who plan ahead for situations like this? Maybe they might think twice before giving out free offers with one hand that leaRAB to having take back other services with the other!

As to the excessive demand claim you have to laugh. What do they expect when this is largely caused by the free months they are offering to people, a drop in demand?

But can you determine that they will send you any particular film? That being the one you feel like watching at the time. If you receive a horror film, and are in the mood for watching 'Lives Of Others', then you're stuffed!

Utter rubbish!

I've just canceled with Lovefilm. Interesting as about a month ago you could cancel online, but now you have to phone them to cancel.
Took quite a while to convince the person at the other end that, yes I did really really want to cancel. It was bloody hard work.

It was a one time thing, seems their computer cocked up and sent people another 'fourth one'.

You had to claim it as far as i know, which might be why you didn't get one.

I had the same hassle with LoveFilm once, I rented out Dead Mans Shoes and they posted it out on the Monday and by friday I still hadnt recieved it, I logged in and they had recieved it back on thursday, so someone out there, recieved it, watched it and posted it back to LoveFilm, lol

Ive got a movie from them this morning and on the disc it says "not for rental". something dodgy going on here, saving themselves money by buying private copies and renting them out?

I have to say that screenselect are excellent at disc turnaround times [1-2 days], despite the fact they've had a fire at their ware house last week or week before, they don't hang about..
I've only had one disc go missing and they just sent me another as soon as I reported it using their online 'problemsolver' tool
why dont you give them a go? they do a free trial and have various packages, depending on what you want.. :) ie 1, 2 or 3 films at a time, some are limited to how many a month you have, others are not.

Had an e-mail from Tesco DVD (essentially the same company) advising that they have merged with ILoveFilm. The website has been down all weekend and the response rate for waiting for my selection to appear is terrible with nearly a two minute wait. Options are limited, I may try BlockBuster, but I get the Tesco club card points with their version of the service.

Again the new releases are awful. Got The Pink Panther on Friday and it was in my selection for about 3 1/2 mths ! Not so new now and was a terrible film anyway, even for the die hard Steve Martin fan that I am.
