LoveFilm are getting on my t*ts

I have previously had a good service from Love Film, I have an ulimited package and get lots of DVRAB. However I have not received ANY disks from them in the last three weeks. Obviously I have reported them missing after the usual four days and they have issued further disks, but again not received. I am in correspondence with their customer services but it is the usual "we are sorry ... blah blah blah". I can only think some kind of scam has begun (not within Love Film) has anyone else had problems?

I love the whole renting online concept :D We sometimes get something that is a little further down the list but on the whole, very good service. Is it my imagination or did screenselect once do a 5-disc deal?

You have no idea how stupid some employees are but you have to ask yourself why would the boyfriend introduce himself as the boyfriend?

Surely she could get her own back without jeopardising her job, after all she does have his address and phone number.

Anyhow Fadgers the only one who knows the truth so no one should accuse him of lying without all the facts.

They occasionally dispatch me a title on the same day they receive it so they really need to enforce their policy properly.

All the rental companies are finding lame excuses to slow down the process so that we get less for our money.

becasue the more companies LF/screen select can buy, the more customers they can get, then when the rental market is only run by 2-3 companies, they can treat people like rubbish, charge

And if anyone ever needed anymore proof of "throttling" then here it is. Two of my discs have been listed as "returned" since Friday and the other one, I've had here since Wednesday. So for two days I've been waiting for them to pick two of the discs from my list and actually provide me with the service I'm paying for.

LoveFilm are DELIBERATELY misrepresenting their packages. Trading StandarRAB have a duty to protect the public and to put an end to this.

Just cos it's only "

you'd think that but actually they prefer you to sit on titles for as long as possible as the biggest overhead is the postage and the risk of loss/damage going through the postal system.

WeatherfieldWil, I got the email address thanks. Quite new to all this forum lark. :)

I miss being with blockbuster, only reason I left them was because they kept sending me movies from the bottom of my list and they kept emailing me to add more titles even though I had 50+ titles.

Still I'd rather get less preferred titles than none at all!

I have been wondering for ages if it is just me that is getting some bother from the site, came onto this site and found out I am not alone.

With me it usually differs, some months I get the dvRAB fast, the next day etc, but this month has been terrible, I ordered Vera Drake on dvd and it didn't arrive at all, then I went to my account and it had been sent back from me!! Only happened the once so far.

I have only had one wrong disk sent to me since I started in November and two discs no arriving.

If the long waiting carries on, I think I will try out blockbusters, seems to be a good choice, but then so was CDwow/Lovefilm when most started.

Even with all the bother it's still the better option than getting the same amount of videos at my local video store.

The blockbusters video store near me is terrible, I mostly rent foreign and less mainstream films from online, and that is one reason I joined the online rental, because the blockbusters near me doesn't have a great collection, mostly mainstream films.

But yeah, glad I know it's the sites fault now.

Perhaps, all of us disgruntled Lovefilm customers should e-mail the website link for this thread, so they themselves can read about the problems we are having.

How you can dispute that this represents amazing value is completely beyond me.

LoveFilm exist to make money. To expect them to subsidise your insatiable DVD-watching is unreasonable.

Although their initial advertising is deceptive, it behooves the consumer to read the terms & conditions because these are the basis of your agreement.

Six months is still a new-ish user, I wouldn't count your chickens just yet.

Reading more of this thread, and others like it, just makes me agree with the comments that people just want something for nothing...

I find it quiet sad that you chose to call yourself "I Love LoveFilm". You prostitute yourself easily enough.

People have a right to complain if they're not getting the service they were sold. Unlimited should be unlimited.

The bloke isn't getting the service he paid for cos they've terminated his account. What a way to handle customer complaints. I notice they didn't refund any money.

Frankly, to get my money's worth I'm going to make sure that everyone in my family signs up for a free 30-day trial. Even if they don't watch the disks, it'll be fun just to screw over LoveFilm.
