LoveFilm are getting on my t*ts

I have to say, i praised them before, but this ;past while has been a disgrace. One bunch of dvd's (4 discs) took a full week to get back to them, and discs i sent back on the same day, in the same postbox, to another company were recieved the very next morning.

It seems they've taken on more than they can chew. If you want a good service, give Mailbox a go, you can find them on google, mailbox dvd365.

I'm having similar problems to other LF customers;after a good few months the last few weeks has seen an alarming slowdown in turnaround.

I want to cancel my account, but two DVRAB sent by them from last Friday have gone missing, I had to wait a week to report them missing and as I had another DVD go missing in January, they have suspended my account while they 'investigate'.

I find it odd that two DVRAB from the same company on the same day have failed to arrive when my other post is fine.

I'd like to know whether anyone else has had their LF account suspended due to lost discs and how soon afterwarRAB did they re-activate it?

How interesting - the additional "free" rental, given out to all sufferers from last weeks debacle at LoveFilm, still counts as one of the three I have got out on loan. Therefore, having sent all 3 of my last allocation back I am now only allowed 2 until I send back my "free" rental!!! They can't even compensate without a catch.

we left lovefilm this week, but joined blockbuster last week, the last film LF sent out was totally wrong, the wrong film in the wrong case and we didn`t want ANY of them!!

with blockbuster, were getting a good mix of new & old, since joining we got 9song (pile of donkey S) ladder 49, the fluffer (AT LAST) the woRABman, and a few fillers we put in the list to bild it up so basically were getting a top 10mix, so much better service then LF

I had LoveFilm for a while, until the MD admitted (in writing) that they do a delivery slowdown (after denying this for months). So I left them and went to ScreenSelect.

Well, after only 7 days, ScreenSelect are starting the Slow-Down of deliveries of DVRAB to me.

They all talk about "business days" which means if you return a disc on Wednesday, they can claim to only have received it on Friday (lies!) and then have 24 hours to "allocate" which pushes it to mid-Monday, and then delay another day to CLAIM slow postal, so you only get the DVD on Wednesday.

That's ONE CYCLE PER WEEK if you ship back on Wednesday !!!!!

What a bunch of liars and cheats.

Is there any service that allocates over the weekend, or delivers quickly even after you've been a member for a while?

I am another customer who is having a problem with lovefilms dvRAB taking 1 day to get to me but 5 days to get back to them.
they are going to lose a lot of customers if they carry on like this.

on a fre trial global e rental were quick to send out but they had no older titles.

as well as love film i have re-joined moviemine today(paying customer) on the 4 dvd package but the 4 dvRAB they have sent me are the bottom 4 on my list  what's the point of a rental list when they just send the last 4 from in the 20s.pathetic.

Anyone Read the LoveFilm website yet:

Check out their news article and tell me if the statement by their Managing Director is a load of tosh:

Now to me the last sentence is what I would call "Bogus"..

what do you think?

I don't agree that ORM is Mark.

He just can't see what's wrong with advertising one service but delivering something else. I'd like to know why ORM thinks it's wrong for us to pay for an UNLIMITED and expect to receive it? Why? Why? Why?

Suppose it's in keeping with the climate of Orwellian fear and paranoia that exists on some of these forums! Shame this "mark" nobody's supposed to overstep is so close to normality that it makes for an unnecessarily negative and unreassuring experience for many. Couldn't we move it to where it belongs, say half a mile to the right?

In the message to me they claim that they process over 75% on the day of receipt or the next working day.

That's almost a whopping 1 in 4 that takes over 48 hours to process. That's how much throttling is going on.

Nothing to cheer about imho.

Save your money.
If Royal Mail were blame there would be a delay in both directions. Its a delaying tactic pure and simple. :)

I wouldn't use those e-mail addresses, it's just the PR company who may have done work for them in the past but LOVEFiLM doesn't appear as a client on their website.
