LoveFilm are getting on my t*ts

Well, I've just had a "three months free" gift voucher from them. Guess they're still trying to drum up trade.

I still wouldn't trust them to get fast turn-around. You'll get 3 discs a week at best. If you're happy with that.....

Problem with Lovefilm is that they give all new customers a great service at the expense of existing customers.

It makes more sense to keep new and existing customers happy as this ensures more subscribers.

It won't make any difference, the only thing that'll make any difference is mass numbers of complaints that state "we're on to you". If it continues like I stated to him in my e-mail to him, I'll be going to Blockbuster. Just like they reserve the right to suspend my account at any time, I have the right not to give them my cash. And I'll give it to a company that understanRAB what it is , it is providing; Blockbuster. Right now I'm just riding out my , 3 months for the price of one deal. I have no doubt by my next billing date (23rd June) I'll no longer be a member of LOVEFiLM and I'll advise anyone I know not to go near them. I'll just have to remember to send all my DVRAB back at least 7 days before that date...heh

Tesco are powered by Video Island. They're okay, probably a lot better than Lovefilm.

I, too am at the end of my tether with Lovefilm, 3 DVRAB a week is a joke. I'll be glad when my 3 months is over.

It might be an idea to join another one seeing as Lovefilm is goona be a long and painful process.

Yes but when Screenselect say most of their post is dispatched after 17:30, they never mention how late. The last post in most areas is 18:30.

Approximatley 1 in 3 rentals always came 2 days after they were dispatched from Screenselect, most blockbuster and lovefilm DVRAB arrive the next day. It is too much of a coincidence that this only happened with Screenselect.

Anyhow I cancelled with them as they were unable to give me a definitive answer to my late post query and they began throttling at an unacceptable rate.

Switching to ScreenSelect has had at least one good effect: I've been getting my top requests for a change. I'm sure that won't last long, but hopefully I can get good discs for at least a few weeks.

Maybe that's an idea? - Sign on for a couple of months, then quit and move to a different service. I had a two-months for the price of one offer from ScreenSelect, so maybe by the time that gets bad, I'll get a plea to sign on again with LoveFilm with better service?...

Nah; too much to hope for ;-)

The many who dislike Lovefilm's service have stated their reasons, will you be stating yours as to why you consider them to offer a good service.

You have criticised the people who 'moan' yet you seem to moan even more about the moaners.

Tell us in no more than 400 worRAB why you think LF are good.

Wow, Glad I am not the only one peed off with LoveFilm, I signed up a while back and their service was fantastic as they were regularly sending sending me me the first three items on my rental list and they were recieving them back the next day and posting out a new batch at the same time.

now over the last fortnight, it's gone all pear shaped.........I am lucky if they recieve back a DVD I post back to them.

I really dont know where the problem lies, is it Royal Mail or Love Film's fault ?

Problem is most of the 3 for 1 subscribers received the invitation email at the same time, so they roughly all joined at the same time.

They will probably all quit at the same time too, thus resulting in huge losses for LF, many existing members who have also experienced a huge drop in service will also be jumping ship.

For the few devoted members who stay with them, whether they will all receive a better service is unknown. But I will keep my eye on this forum to see if the service picks up after the huge exodus.

At least you got a reply. I am still waiting on a response to my email sent to them last Friday asking bout the time they are taking to receive discs back, but if i'm just going to get that automated rubbish then it was a waste of time sending it.

What i am tempted to do is send my discs back recorded delivery which would require a signature. That would soon settle any arguments over which day they are received. Let them then turn round and claim it took 3-4 days for them to get them back!

I sent them an email yesterday. I asked them why it takes them 4 days to receive my DVRAB when it only takes me 1 day to receive. No reply, I doubt I will get one.

Seeing as I return on Wednesday and they receive on Tuesday every single week now I have nothing to lose so I might as well flood them with emails twice a week. I rejoined blockbuser and received 6 DVRAB in first week.

I've never really had a problem with LoveFilm, but gotta say their envelopes are too blooming fragile and tear very easily. I hoped they were gonna change them when I started getting them in rectangular form but no, I'm back to the old square, cant fit anything in, rip the flimsy paper kind :D
