Maybe with inflation he would have to be a 60 million dollar man.I don't know who could play him though Lee Majors was the business as Steve Austin in this, my favourite show as a kid - be great to see what they could do with a big budget and todays technology it could be Better, Stronger, Faster.
 
Atomic Man. An Action Man figure. I think he had only one "atomic" leg. He certainly had a glowing atomic eye and a see-thru arm with rotating hand, which as a super power would be very useful in the assembly of flat pack furniture.
 
What could anyone do with just one Bionic/Atomic leg, RAB! A slightly ill concieved idea. You would think that someone at Mattel or wherever would have asked the question, before putting it into production.
 
I'm sure someone will get round to it sooner rather than later. Hollywood eventually recycles most things!:D

The effects could be awesome, but they'd have to get a leading actor who could do the anguish and pain as well as the 'revelling in his new abilities' shtick.
Otherwise it would be just another superhero film..

Maybe The 'Six Billion Dollar Man'?
 
Although I wouldn't mind a $6m man film, or even better a Bionic Woman film, I'd much rather see a big screen Xena: Warrior Princess movie.

The upcoming US boxset of the The Six Million Dollar Man includes all 3 pilot movies in their original broadcast format rather than the 2 part versions with 20 minutes unrelated padding that the UK set has , aswell as the 3 Bionic reunion movies and all 5 seasons.
