In your opinion, which model Nokia has the LOUDEST speakerphone?

I tested out the N70 and N73, and I was dissapointed. Some mentioned the 6131.

I want YOUR opinion as regular Nokia users on the LOUDEST SPEAKERPHONE Nokia ever, whether new or old:

Nokia 6131/6126. It's pretty the speaker. I find series 60 speakers are weak and it's anoying. Thus why I rarely use my 6620 anymore. Its to quite.
 
Yah there pretty weak. I donk think the E61/62 is as loud as the 6126 but close and it depends on how the phone is placed.
 
It's funny you say that. I thought it was just me but I noticed that I've been using my N80's speaker phone more often than any other S60 to date. Obviously in noisy environments it's not going to work but show me a Nokia that does.
 
Well I can tell you right out of the gate the 6230 has no business being up there then. I still use it once a week (Fridays) when I know i'm going to be getting dirty in my restaurants. I call it my Friday phone and the speaker and ringtone volume flat out stink IMO.

back to the point.....that's why I was confused it was in the list.
 
I experienced the N70 and N73 and although I agree they have quality, they are fairly quite. I want something VERY loud, or at least...

I agree...but there is not a Nokia that can survive noisy situations. You can mention a 6233's dual speakers and perhaps the N95 with stereo speakers but I can guarantee you that they will not survive in a real world test like an iden does. If a speaker phone is your most important feature, I hate to say it, but Nokia may not be the one for you. I've owned more than a fair amount of Nokias (S40, S60, S80...etc...) and not a single one has been what I would call a "decent" speaker phone outside of my home or in an office. It's really too bad that Nokia hasnt focused on the speaker function as much but perhaps it's only us loud *** Americans that need a feature like that!
 
Louder than N70, e61, and n73 that you have?

Speaking of the 6230, many mentioned the 6131 flip phone being even louder than the 6230 that they experienced...
 
Wow, you're right. It's us Americans that wanna prank call all the time and enjoy it on speakerphone with our friends around the phone and wanna listen, and of course, it is us whining Americans that hate it when Nokias S60 record program beeps every 5 seconds so the other pranked party hears the beep. And of course, it is us Americans that hate when the camera flash turns (on N73's) as soon as the video record button starts recording (secret spy cams).

It is Nokia at war with American fun.

Man...and why do I still love Nokia? Gosh I dono...I can't have some fun with my phone damnit?

3 way connect pranks are a must on speaker..agreed
recording program with the beeps (tell the other party it's your call waiting...usually they wont know unless of course they too have a S60)
Camera flash sound sucks as does the video recording sound!
You've pretty much nailed it!

.....but exposing yourself in public is uncalled for!
