I dont know what in the heck I did to my left arm but its been hurting like heck for the last month.

If I extend my arm all the way out, parallel to the floor palm up.... and squeeze something in my hand I get a lot of pain from my forearm. (closer to my bicep)

I have no insurance and I dont have enough money for a doctor visit.

Can anyone offer any helpful ideas of what I should do to repair it? Or even what in the heck is wrong with it? :(

Thanks in advance

You may have tendonitis or bursitis, commonly known as shoulder impingement in your shoulder, rotator area and the upper arm is getting referred pain.

There are exercises to help strengthen the shoulder and keep it fluid in order for it not to freeze.

Search for shoulder impingement exercises and see if they help.

If it is shoulder impingement, heat in the morning and icing at night will help. Baby it but also continue use it or it will freeze up.

Your problem may be something else, however, I am coping with shoulder impingement at the moment myself. The pain is in my upper arm bicep area.

I second Misty's post. I have a shoulder impingement/ bursitis/ tendonitis and ended up with frequent arm pain and bicep tendonitis. When my shoulder was better, my arm pain got better. It is certainly worth investigating.

In addition to ice and heat, exercise and anti-inflammatory's help.
