lost reverse in my 96 dodge caravan?

its a 96 4cylinder no overdrive. was driving fine my wife went to pull out of driveway she heard clunk and it rolled foward. all foward gears work fine but no reverse what so ever. question: is the tranny gone or may it be something easy fix. fluid is good too. thank you in advance.

the clunk she heard could have been a cv joint fell out of it ,check that,i have seen one side of the joint go bad and cause you to loose a gear,if that's not it,you have lost the reverse band in the transmission,i had one last week that the cv joint had fell out of it,and it wouldn't move in reverse but had a reel good drive to it,and the people actually drove it to me like this,good luck.
