Lost Pictures After ios 5

After downloading the latest update from my PC to my iPhone 4, my whole picture library has disappeared. Any ideas what to do to recover them? Thanks in advance.

I synced the phone with iTunes again and got them back

I agree resync and check to make sure your pictures are selected in the tab menu when iPhone showing in iTunes. One assumes here that you did back up the pictures and or have originals on the computer.

maybe you didnt do a proper backup? but just resync and should work
