Lost: One Tungsten T, but...

there is a bright side to these things!:D

I was unfortunate to loose my Tungsten T this past weekend while traveling. I feel lost and hopeless without it.

I'm looking at replacements, but would like some feedback on the T3 versus the Zire 72 versus the new Sony's.

Any input would be appreciated:)
 
Sorry for your loss, pal. I'd be heartsick. Jeez, that's AWFUL!

Err, well, . . . . bright side? You could wait for the new "T-Model." Won't be much longer. Since you've got to cough up the dough again, you might want the "newest and best;" if you can't wait (and I certainly couldn't or wouldn't) -- I'd go for the T3. Yes, we've clucked and sputtered on here about little things here and there - but like a RollsRoyce's only real drag is too small a radiator for California driving, the T3 all in all is the clear winner in my view.

The landscape, 52 useable meg, solid build, no "slider nightmares" after all, TERRIFIC display and versatile button assignation combined with 400 MHz (383 on mine to be exact) -- it's just BETTER. It would be my choice again if I were to lose mine tomorrow -- although I do like the Tungsten E and the Sony (TH-55, I believe is right model#).
 
If I were you, I'd wait until the next Palm models are announced, then the T3 price will come down. Although, we don't really know when that will be. You, however, have to decide how long you are willing to wait and what it's worth to you. I love my T3, but it cost a pretty penny.

c'mon, the guy is palmless...wait til cobalt devices come out in the fall?
Dude, get a T3. I have a T which I hope will survive till the cobalt machines emerge but in your position Id buy a T3 with no question (but check out the Th-55, it looks interesting and ther are some good comparitive reviews around I think...Ill try to find some links...stay tuned.
 
I would wait if you could for the Tungsten E2 to come out in June but if you cannot wait that long I would also go with the T3 and you can bring it back when the new one comes just make sure you can do it first ! :D

I would not go with the TH-55 becasue of the processor speed. It is only a 123 MHZ Processor which is 24 MHZ less then the T you hade. Some say that this processor speed do not make a difference but I cannot agree. If you go with the Zire 72 you get almost a triple times the processor speed (312) and if you got with the T3 you get three times the processor speed and more. So you cannot go wrong with either the T3 or Z72.

Also I am making a website and I would like to know if anyone would do a review on the following things:

Zire 71 & 72
Zire 31
Tungsten T3
Tungsten W & C

Any Software that you likes ! I got a list of my top stuff I want to put on the web I will make a list of stuff and put it under my name and I will start a thread.

I had an earlier version clie, the T65 and couldn't wait to upgrade to the T3. I know that they were apples and oranges, but the T3 is so amazingly fast and the display is beautiful. The Palm is so much more adaptable.
