I recently lost my NYS Learner's Permit but I have an appointment for a road test in two weeks. I applied for a new permite but the DMV estimates that I should get it in two weeks. In the mean time, I only have a paper temp permit which cannot be used to take the road test. In the event that the photo permit doesn't arrive on time, what are my options? Can I use the temp permit in conjunction with a passport?
