Hey guys!

For the past few years I've had nothing but Vxxx series Motorola phones. I recently lost my v635 and am looking to buy a new phone. I'm kind of curious to try out new types of phones and am really loving the Samsung T509 but I can't find it unlocked! Even if I do find an unlocked t509 I'm kind of skeptical due to the fact that the camera on it isn't very good.

I'm looking for either a flip phone or a candybar phone, PREFERABLY candybar, I just love how they look. I would like memory expansion (transflash maybe) and bluetooth so I can put stuff on there from other phones/computers.

I love how thin the t509 is and just love how it feels. But that camera sucks haha. Anyway, any reccomendations?

Oh and I didn't want to spend more than 250 ish. Forgot to mention that!

I like the SLVR but the camera sucks.

I'm just in love with the damn t509 too haha. I just want a good cam/video cam.

If you like the T509, and want an unlocked phone try the Samsung D900, it's a thin slider w/ A2DP, Transflash/microSD slot and a relatively good camera.

If you like the candybar factor and like a decent camera on top of that, try the Sony Ericsson W810i (quadband, good camera, great for music, takes sony memory pro duo which can go up to 4GB) or the K790a (great camera w/ real flash, good for music, A2DP).

Wow... I really like the D900 and I'm definitely considering that. Whats A2DP? haha. I'm an idiot.

Can I upload my own ringtones and use them like i can with my moto phones?

Also, what do you guys think of the Samsung X-820? I can't decide between the two!

A2DP is an acronym for Advanced Audio Distribution Profile, basically it's Wireless Bluetooth Stereo. No music phone should be without it. =p

The X820 has the current bragging rights of being the thinnest phone in the market, but without a memory slot, I consider it mostly just for show, and maybe for making calls. =p

Oh it's also missing the 850 band, which makes it less useful in North America. I think the D900 is definteily the flagship phone in terms of features.

The camera in my T509 was the best I've ever had in a phone--which means either my 509 had a great camera or my Treo 600 and Nokia 6600's cameras were really bad.
