Lost ALL my GM Envoy's Key Fobs, Can I buy a Used one?

My 2002 GMC Envoy Key fobs are all lost. I need to purchase two new ones however I dont want to pay full dealer price. There are plenty of used GM and Chevy key fobs for sale on ebay. Could I use these?

I know that I need to match the specific code on my original key fobs to whatever used option I choose, but seeing as mine are lost, how should I go about getting this code? Thanks
 
if you purchased one off ebay, I think your dealer, could set it for you... might want to call first though.

also, check some GMC based message boards, there are all sorts of little tweaks and hacks you can find, I found out how to add a new keyfob remote to my car by doing it myself, but I own a Ford. It's probably different on a GMC.
