Losing signal

Is it just me or what? I haven't had this much trouble keeping a signal since I switched from Nextel. It is really starting to annoy me. I have done the battery pull and all that fun stuff. The only thing I can think of is that there are towers down in my area. Anyone else having issues since last night?

For the last week or so at night I have noticed I have been having trouble connecting.

My devices will send out, but will not receive.

I have to turn the wireless of and then back on and about 70% of the time that fixes it.

Does this happen everywhere or what? I have T-mobile and live in NJ and my phone drifts in and out of signal alot in my house. More than should be expected. Also in certain places on campus I notice the same thing. Like right now I have no signal, then I place it down goes to 2 bars, pick it up signal for awhile then no signal.

yeah that has been happening to me since last night. I normally do not have any problems... We aren't far from each other so we may be feeding off the same towers

I've noticed it too! Actually on Tuesday night , I was at a birthday party and all of a sudden I lost all my signal. It never happens, especially when I'm in the city. Everyone else, about a crowd of 10 also had TMO and no one had a signal. Quite strange. Ever since it's been a little flaky

Yeah I noticed it for more like 2 days. Kinda weird. My friend suggested a cellphone signal booster. But do those actually work on a Blackberry?

At school its acceptable since we dont have a Tmobile tower built there yet. So some places there will have bad signal. Everyone with Tmobile there notices bad signal compared to other companies. But at my home that suprising, didnt expect it.

Cell phone signal booster (if you are talking about the type that actually stick to the phone) are worthless.

You would be better off going to the kitchen, getting a piece of aluminum foil and sticking it underneath your battery.

i know lately t-mobile has been doing a lot of updates to the towers in different regions at different times, we had that issue in florida for about 2 weeks. ususally just turn your dvice off (not a battery pull) for about 30 seconds. turn it back on and it will connect you to the nearest non congested tower. hope that helps

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ This unfortunately was a big problem for me before I got the Pearl. My 7105T's drove me insane with this random dropping. My Pearl used to but with a recent OS upgrade my problems have been solved.

I actually had this happen on Friday night as well....Every once in a while I had service and could send e-mails and stuff, but for the most part I couldn't do anything. It was driving me crazy! It usually helped to do a battery pull, but it would only give me a few minutes to do whatever I was trying to do. I resent the service books on Saturday morning and it has worked fine since.

Yeah it should be good like I said earlier there are some new upgrades going on. And so some of the towers were acting up. You should be fine though. ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
