Loose T3 slider

Hi--When closed my T3 slider has about a 1/32" of play in it. It opens and closes fine, but does so too easily and it no longer snaps shut with authority.Before I start playing with it just want to know if the 4 screws have anything to do with tension and positioning of the slider. If not, any suggestions to tighten up the slider friction. Thanks in advance. Steve
