They chose public service, on our dime. Bitching about the very scrutiny they called for is hypocritical.

As I posted above; if they don't like it, sell cars for a living.

I don't expect perfection. I expect them to do their job and not break the law, nor take advantage of their office. And if the OCE makes them double-check and second-guess every deed and association, so be it. They chose their careers.

They work for the public, so their deeds should be public.
 
just remember - this is the agency that the democrats campaigned to create. it is their own baby.

It's not, but after all the shit they tossed prior to 06 and getting control and prior to 08, for them to dismantle and hide their own transgressions is especially gross. I expected it from the democrats, but it doesn't make it any less disturbing.
 
Revolution is the only real way for effective change, not some community organizer making promises he lied about.
 
I did address the topic.

They live in a fishbowl and if they live their life even remotely honorably they won't have a problem and I'm sick of pretending that elected officials are the same as you and I- they're not. If they can't handle the extra pressure that comes along with a position that grants them power, wealth, and privilege then they can fuck off and go back to being a lawyer or whatever the fuck it was they were doing before being elected.

I don't give a flying fuck if personal shit gets posted or if innacurate accusations are made. That doesn't happen to me and if it did I be pissed, but then again I don't get to fly to Africa on the taxpayers dime and eat at 5 star restaurants on BP's corporate account. Fuck them and fuck their bitch-ass complaints.
 
this issue appears to have bipartisan support though. its not really a political issue imo.
