Looking to Switch from Sprint

Hello Stackers. I'm currently with Sprint using a PPC on the EVDO network. I've been anticipating the 8320 and was pretty much dead set. Local dealers have the Titanium in stock and willing to sale. My dilemma is the internet speed. I asked before and was told that the BB can't stream youtube videos, I was heartbroken but I was still willing to ditch my ppc. Then I got the chance to play with my friends unlocked iphone on T-mo's network. I was using his internet and compared to my PPC it was night and day. We ran speed tests (iphonenetworktest.com and dslreports.com/mspeed) and the t-mobile consistantly produced 60-85 kbps results while my ppc was 300+ and both had full bars. I've ran the test before and my ppc has gotten over 500 so I know the tests are touchy and sometimes innacurate. But the iphone on EDGE only got over 100 ONCE. Even rendering pages was significantly slower. I'm not sure if it's the Safari program or not. I've played with a sk3 and I can tell the ppc is faster. My question is how well/fast does the blackberry browser render pages? Do you have to wait long for say CNN or Ebay? If tethered is the bb like a dial up modem? Also are you able to go onto bank websites with the BB? Sorry for the long post but I'm still kinda torn on what to do. I use my browser quite a bit to bid on auctions and what not, so speed plays a factor. Youtube is a killer but hopefully in the future it'll work.

it all depends on how heavy the page is. There are settings, such as how nice to make the pictures. Lower quality will load faster.

There is also a noticable difference in the speed of the EDGE vs WiFi. Its a lot faster to do things via the WiFi.
I have not used mine to tether, so I cant answer there.
