I am wanting to start up a all in one consignment shop in north florida. I am having a time finding an investor or even a bank to get a loan. the problem... I have no established credit. we have put all the credit building bills in my husbands name. when he got stuck with crazy hospital bills he lost his credit too... so I am running into plenty of sites willing to connect me with investors... if I pay them a monthly subscription fee. which I think is crazy because most likely I wont get any results from them. I have also tried local community sites and cannot find anyone locally willing to invest. the issue is that I want to start this business ASAP, Since the economy has hit the rocks these consignment stores are jammed packed with customers trying to save money. It is a perfect time to build up a client base so that even when the economy recovers I will have loyal customers and continue to thrive. There is TONS of potential income and a very low start up cost. I am needing around 10,000... more or less depending on what I can get. The great thing about these consignment shops is that you can start small and build when youre ready. But I need some help anyone have some ideas? Thanks - & dont tell me to build my credit that takes too long and im already working on it.
