...monsters or hond interceptor 800.? I am looking at ducati 2011 ducati 798 monster, 2009 honda intercerptor 800, ducati 1100 monster, and speed triple by triumph. DOES ANYON HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? I am consiering maintainence, resale, power, reliability and value.
 
I would go with the Honda Interceptor. Easy to work on, inexpensive parts, inexpensive insurance and Honda Dealerships are easier to find. My brother has a 2008 Honda Interceptor and its a very nice bike. The Honda Interceptor has a high resale value (If its not beat), has quick/usable power and the reliability is very good.
 
Well, the only one of those which is a sport-touring bike is the Interceptor, and it's an excellent bike. The vast majority of riders who sport-tour want weather protection (a fairing or a windshield), and none of the others offer that. They also don't really have long-distance comfort.
