Ok...

I am an import man, through and through. I love ultra high performance 6 and 4 cylinder cars with all wheel drive and wildly advanced tech... I always have and always will.

HOWEVER....

I have always understood the appeal of a big V8, and have long wanted to experience the viceral muscle car feel....

Well, I have found one in a good price range that I would like to have, but not being from the muscle era, and having not had an interest in ever researching these old cars, I have a few questions before I buy.

The car is a 1967 Plymouth Valiant.... gorgeous blue color, dual hood scoops (like the valiant scamp I believe)

There are some things on it I do not understand though...

Says it has a 360/727 with a 2500 stall... now, I assume the 360 means the 360 c.i small block engine, but wtf is the /727 !?

Also, I understand the "stall" to mean it stalls the major power of the car until after 2500 rpm, allowing better streetability... is this right?

It also has a Reverse Manual valve body... what is this!?

And lastly... anyone who can tell me aprox. what kind of power this Mopar is making, just a ball park figure, it would be appreciated!

Along with the engine, it has dual Flowmaster headers, a mild cam ( no specific grind figures), and is 30 over.....

Also, the car is 4500 bucks, and the guy may take either 3900-4000, is this a good deal on my first muscle car? Or is this a bad buy, and I should look elsewhere?

Looking for answers from hardcore muscle car and Mopar guys....

THANKS!
