Looked through all the phones offered on the Go Phone plan and I think I am going to go with the W580i. Does anyone have any thoughts on the usability of this phone? Recommend?

Thanks

It's a nice phone, I'm just into sliders that much.

Check out sites like Phonescoop or CNET for user and in-depth reviews.

Honestly, I love this phone so far. Only one small issue I have with it but nothing can be fix on it. Other than the one issue, the phone is awesome. And now I know how to do ringtones on it, that kicks even more ass!! I have some more testing to do on it so we'll what else this puppy can do. I'll keep you informed about this next test. It involves playing Divx movies on the phone.... Gawd I need a life!

lol, Dalton.

I ended up going in so I could see it for myself, so much better than shopping for it online. Went ahead and bought it because I liked the way it looked and all the features. Will know in a couple days if I love this phone or not. Thanks for the ringtone thing BTW, totally cool!

I have not enjoyed my W580i. Buttons break easily, and sometimes I can only talk be heard when on speaker phone.

Great phone, mine survived after I washed and dried it. Only the speaker broke.

Pros:
The phone has a lot of potenial, learn to flash, flex and script.
Phone is easy to unlock.
Music playback is supurb.
FM radio works pretty good
I'm not going to watch videos on it but it can play them well.
Pretty sturdy
Camera is GREAT
Dead sexy in red.
If you're gentle with the keys, they wont break. Seriously dont put 50lb of pressure on the keys you just need a few ounces.

Cons:
After a while my dad's and sister's W580i's started having call problems.
Straight to voicemail
Silence on the other line when calling
LOUD static on the other line.

Its a great phone, GREAT I love it while I had it and I personally never had problem with it but a lot of people have complained about it. Eventhough I loved it I wouldnt recomend it.
