...a picture like my old CRT? I am very used to my old CRT TV, I just recently upgraded to High Definition Dish Network and I did buy a Sony LCD TV but I am not too happy with it. You see I am a color person type of guy. I love colors and I love brightness. That is why I was very very happy with my old CRT TV. Now I will only be using my Dish Network High Definition with an HDMI connected. I won't be using Blu Ray or Gaming. I love to watch sports. That is the key for me. The reason why I think I didn't like the picture on the Sony TV even though it was very clear is because it had a Matte Finish to it. I like the picture to be smooth and have a glossy finish to it. That is why a lot of people suggested to me that I buy a Plasma. Would that be a good choice to make? Now I was looking at the ad for Ultimate Electronics and they have this Panasonic Plasma Viera TC-P42C2 for like $500 and it has been getting great reviews. It has received 4.8 out of 5 stars. Now this tv is a 720 P, will that be a big problem since I am only gonna be watching Dish Network High Definition. I even heard that with the Panasonice Viera, whether I get the 720 P or the 1080 which they also have but costs like $200 more that I won't notice any differences. Is that right??? Now the key again is that I get a glossy smooth picture finish and keep in mind that I love sports and I love colors and brightness, Will i get as close as possible a picture as my old CRT TV???? Do Plasmas last a long time??? Now another thing that I noticed about most of the LCD's is that if you are standing in front of the tv, you will notice the dots and the pixels on the faces of the people in the picture and in the background. Why is that? I really hate that a lot. Is there any tv out there that even if you stand in front of it that you won't see these pixels or dots running around??? Will this Panasonic Plasma Viera TC-P42C2 work for me based on my preferences? Please give me the details on this. Thanks
