beginner level stuff? I played piano when i was little for about 6 years (then trumpet for 4 years after that)
I'm trying to get back to playing by buying a keyboard.
the ultimate goal is to get into messing around with some beat making, but i know i need to brush up on my piano skills first.
basically I need to decide if i should spend some money on a cheap keyboard to practice, like an entry level casio or yamaha 61 key keyboard (touch sensitive, weighted keys preferably)
and wait to get an Axiom 61 later, or should i just jump and buy the axiom now??
I figure ill be getting an axiom sooner or later and this way it would be cheaper?
will the learning curve be way to steep or will i manage?
PS i know very little about reason/abletonlive/fl studio software which from what I'm told i'll need to make sound with the axiom 61 via my mac since the axiom is a midi controller and doesnt make sounds itself? (no speakers)
