Please help me with some wording. I wan't to describe the significance of what my 2 bridesmaids did without sounding ill-prepared (like I left it to the last minute), that I was unorganized (didn't plan their dresses) but shows that they went out of their way to help. Here is what I have...
I’d like to thank my bridesmaids and for a while I wasn’t even sure I was going to get to say that. I had originally planned for 1 bridesmaid but due to unforeseen circumstances she dropped from the wedding party. We had her dress ordered and no one to fit it, which caused even more stress. I thought today I’d go through the ceremony looking like a “friendless loser” but BM1 saw my sadness and went in search of a dress that matched the wedding colors. She searched high and low and eventually on Kijiji, where she found a beautiful dress that was a perfect match to the color scheme. BM2 too saw my sadness and she went in search of a dress to match the color scheme and she too found one that was a perfect match. You wouldn’t even know these women dropped everything last minute to be here for me because they look exactly like they were meant to be here all along and that took a lot of work. I’m so lucky and thankful to have true friends like them.
p.s. I have checked BM1 doesn't mind the Kijiji reference.
my guests are my only concern. My first bridesmaid should feel uncomfortable (she won't be in attendance). She invited herself and he bf to my home, acted completely inappropriate (given that my *kids were home*) We told her we were a little uncomfortable with that and she freaked started calling me all sorts of nasty names and dropped from the wedding leaving me stuck paying off her dress (that I already paid the first half of) and without a bridesmaid. I will never give a sh!t it she feels like I blame her...she deserves that and more.
