Hey! I'm looking for the name of this comedy (Not the Tom Hanks movie)
Description:
Some white guy (similar to Benny Hill) ends up on deserted island. He's slightly fat, red/brown hair. I remember only few scenes because I watched it a long time ago (before 2000) on some German TV channel (Pro 7 or RTL) when I was just a kid.
I remember that some native tribe captures him and guides him through initiation ritual. After ritual his ear swells and gets bigger and red. Some day after he discovers a boomerang and while he was learning how to throw it and he saw that it was coming back to him he shut himself in the cottage (he build) and waited for boomerang to hit somewhere else. But when he opened the door again boomerang hit him in the head right then. Movie ends when his wife finds him on the island with a big cruiser and he comes to the boat. But she was all annoying and he felt like going back to the island so he jumped over in the sea and swam back to the island.
I would say that movie was made in the '80s but not sure. Definitely between '70s-'00.
I would be trully grateful is somebody could give me the name of this movie. I would try to repay you somehow if I could.
