Looking for the best phone to back-up iphone

I was deciding between the blackberry bold 9700 and the HTC tilt 2. I'm open to other suggestions but I'm looking to stay within the $250 range.
 
Depends on what you need and ant to do. You will need a BB data plan for the 9700 to use most of the features.. Assuming that you are on ATT with the iPhone, as soon as you put the iPhone SIM in the BB you will get the BB data plan. Dropping it in the Tilt 2 would also force a change of data plan.
 
Yes I'm on the AT&T network and already have a data plan for my current iphone. I just needed a phone that would browse pretty quick and good email features since I send a lot of images and vids through email.
