Looking for smart phone suggestions...Cingular or maybe Verizon service

Ok so here is my deal. I am with Cingular and my wife recently got a new job where she is on the road all the time and is on the phone for a lot of that. She is currently using a Motorola L6 and honestly it is barely cutting it. Her territory is very rural so having a phone with the BEST possible reception is our #1 priority...#2 would be a good Bluetooth system as her 2007 Camry has Bluetooth handsfree which she uses all the time. #3 is ease of SMS messaging and beyond that everything is candy IMO. She doesn't need a camera, never uses the one she has. She doesn't need an MP3 player, she has an iPod.

Also we need to update our plan again as she is using so many min so Cingular is going to reup us for another 2 years...I am more than happy to jump ship if Verizon has a better phone and or better reception in rural PA.

So please give me your thoughts on phones based on these criteria:
#1 strength or reception
#2 Bluetooth
#3 ease of SMS typing

Thanks

Im thinking that you should look into verizon and any one of their phones with tri or quadband. Most new ones have bluetooth which is nice and messaging is about the same on everything ive tried.

Yea we went through my wife's usage last night call by call and added up all the min she was using. Of 2700 min used for the month 1400 of them were to Verizon wireless customers and another 250 of them were to my phone so if we move to Verizon we can get a substantially lower plan and save some money.

family share and verizon to verizon. Its amazing. i have 2300 minutes on my family share plan (6 phones) and we have used about 200 each, because of nights and weekends verizon to verizon

Well ok we can close this out I suppose. Last night I ported my numbers to Verizon and we got my wife the LG VX9800 and I got an LG-VX8300. We both can already see a difference in the reception of the phones vs the Mot L6s we had been using.
