There is a short story, probably by a British writer, 20ieth cent., about a husband who wakes up on the beach and goes home just to find out he has been dead for a while already. He must have fallen off the cliff while he was collecting some bird eggs from the nests. Anyone recognizes the story? Need the author or name of the story?
