I've played a lot of Free to Play MMORPG fantasy games in the past. Most of which was disappointing. Have listed the cons only as to why I don't play them. There were some good points. Just the cons that made me leave.
Main reasons were
* Overwhelming "Spam Bots"
* Terrible customer support
* Low end/tooney graphics
* Low player base
* Lord marshal reliant games
* Severely unbalanced between free to play and pay to play
* Large down loads
* Clumsy interface
* To many nations/servers spreading the gaming population low
* Grind fest
* Open PvP
* Repetitive quests
Looking for a game thats, MMORPG Fantasy
Relatively balanced between F2P and P2P
* High gaming population
* PvP and PvE (not open PvP)
* 2.5 and or 3D grapahics
* Solid storyline
* Good skill animation
* Not too much grinding

Wow didn't even get to download this game after reading their confusing over the top forums and googling alot of pros and cons for this game. I have to agree with this post after reading their forums, that if they paid more attention to getting rid of the spam bots in game and less, "dictatorship" on the forums, more people would join. Truely a harsh dictatorial game ruined by the mods.
Cons-
-No permanent mounts. All mounts are cash shop and "rented" 7 or more days.
-"Allowed" town camping by either nation 30 minutes prior and 30 minutes after Area Conquest making it impossible to do quests in mid level areas for about 2 hours per day.
-no Auction House
-If you can't afford to drop some money [$40 if your lucky at upgrading-$200 not so lucky at upgrading] in the cash shop, don't bother with this game unless you have no plans to aquire PvP gear, participate in Area Conquests, or level past 30. [30+ maps are all PvP and will have players 5 levels lower than you with plussed weapons 1-2 shotting you.]
-Crafting potions leaves something to be desired as the "amount" you get for crafting a potion is completely random. You could get 1 you could get 30.
-Game is not very old and there are already max level characters.
-Players are mods on the forums and GM's in the game. Most powerful guild has a Board mod and at least one GM in it. [If you go to Gates Of Andaron forums and LOOK it says on their profile what guild they are in if they are in one]
-If you have more than one player in your household [multiple accounts] you have to notify them beforehand.
In other words if you post on forums on your account and your brother posts on the forums under his account, but you have the same IP.. you will be banned if you don't notify them beforehand of a multiple user household.
[I'm not kidding! This is in the rules and I know at least 5 people who got banned from forums for just this reason]
-GM's ban without warning in the game for almost everything but language. You get warnings for language as there are no filters. Offensive names, breaking any of their rules, or breaking any of their many unwritten rules [such as "port in, casting, porting out"] are banned without warning.
Waiting for
