Looking for first bike, NEED HELP

my first 2 were jap 600's, then a 1000. In retrospect I shouldve just bought the 1000 and been done with it. Wouldnt saved a ton on depreciation. The thing will only go as fast as you right hand allows anyway. Its a matter of self control. Not a popular opinion, but for a relatively broke guy like me I couldve used saving some cash with all the turnover. Just don't be an idiot, respect the bike, work yourself up slowly and youll be fine.

I do understand what your saying and I can't fully utilize the bike right now but when I get back I'm going to take the classes at the track so I can learn to utilize it correctly. Maybe if I started out with a smaller bike I might have been able to utilize it a little better but who knows.
