I'm looking for an anime like Shakugan no Shana, I liked the action in it, fighting, magick, and supernatural-ness. The romance and slice of life in it was fine, because it wasn't overdone like in some animes. I also like how Yuji starts off really weak and becomes strong in the end. I like that kind of development in animes. I also like the suspense and supernatural in deathnote. I don't like anime's where a main theme is harem or something similar. It can play a part in the show but not overpower it like most anime do. I'm looking for an anime that stands out among the crowd and hopefully has more than one season.
I've already seen Fate/stay night, mushi shi, black lagoon, kaze no stigma, eden of the east, hell girl (jigoku shoujo). Please do NOT suggest anything dumb and mainstream like inuyasha, naruto, FMA, etc. I don't want something that's aimed towards 10 year old boys and overrated.
